Denis writes Bud'ko aka ratbud: "The
end point of our photo tour was Mutnovsky. I come here every year, but
this time it was different. Last winter was very little snow, and even to
the same dawned hot summer. Therefore snowfields that never conceal this year
is very much reduced in size. As a result, open a passage in the snow cave
beneath them. "
Snow cave on the slopes of the
volcano Mutnovskiy.
At the entrance to the cave ceiling thickness is
very small and sunlight piercing through it gives us the unique beauty of
sight.
Conditions for shooting in a cave not to say the
best: almost all the water flowing from the ceiling, and which wants to pour
technique. And without eksesov not done - Irina so involved shooting,
which is invisible, how to put the unit under running water. Photo ©

The main colors that our eyes see in the cave is the
Green, Yellow and Blue, but the automation of modern cameras have thought that
there are still red and pink shades.
The further we move away from the entrance, the
thicker became the arch of the cave, and the less light penetrates through
it.
On the ceiling and then manifested bizarre images,
both in form and color.
That's the last ray of light on the way to the
center of the cave.
At first I did not want to go further into the
cave, but our restless Alain, his eagerness to pass through the cave at just
forced me to go ahead and thank her for that!)) Otherwise I would not have seen
all the charm lurking beneath these strata of snow.
Somewhere in the middle of the cave (it is
approximately 300 meters) was a large room with a small cascade. In this
photo, which I pose for Veronica as a guide to Hell can be clearly seen,
like tree rings, the layers of snow, and which is composed of a cave. I
estimate there about 5 layers of compacted snow. The bottom layer is
almost ice.
Mutnovsky is famous for its abundance of
rain. This cave is located in a ravine depth of 10 meters, carrying an
ordinary mountain stream. In winter it is a ravine level sweeps snow and
thick set of caves can be up to 5-6 meters.
On the way out of the cave the way we were blocking
the small 5 meter waterfall, but to approach it is dangerous, because the edges
of the roof are constantly crumble.
But the problem is solved by a small side exit
through which we crawled out of the cave.
When he came out, and looking round the entire
snowfield can not believe that we have just passed under it.
To understand ourselves, how much snow falls here
and a lot of it has melted this year. Imagine what this small waterfall is
usually located under the snow!
