Meet the world's biggest truck

This gargantuan of a truck is hard to describe, but put it this way, imagine standing on the terrace of your duplex house and driving the entire building down the road.
The biggest truck in the world is neither a Volvo nor a Ford, not even a Mack truck with a double trailer. The real monsters are mining trucks that stand more than 21 feet tall and 48 ft long.
Caterpillar 797F Mining Truck, which weighs more than one million pounds (453,592 kilograms) and can carry and dump more than 300 tons of material in the back. These mining trucks produce about 4,000 horsepower to move all that mass and travel at a maximum speed of 67 kmph.

The World's Biggest Gold Mines

The World's Biggest Gold Mines

The price of gold has more than doubled in the past five years, creating considerable interest in trading the precious metal. Roughly $75 billion is traded in the London bullion market every day.

Despite demand, gold is extremely scarce. By some estimates, all of the gold ever mined in the history of the world would fill only two Olympic-size swimming pools. Given the U.S. Geological Society estimates that just 51,000 tons of global gold reserves remain in the ground, gold mining remains a lucrative business.

Teenager Carl Griffiths may have the biggest feet in Britain, but he's taking it in his stride.

The 19-year-old, who stands at 6ft 8in, has feet that are a staggering 14.5in long - or a size 21. The UK average men's shoe size is a nine.

Unsurprisingly, he regularly has to put up with people accidentally standing on them and struggles to find shoes that fit so has to order them from overseas.

Mr Griffiths, from Trimsaram in south Wales said: 'My feet have always been huge - ever since I can remember.

'They grew so fast when I was at school my mum kept having to buy me new shoes every few months. Each year I would go through two or three pairs. I just wore them out really quickly.
