1. Butane

5. VanillinSince natural vanilla is expensive, and the world needs amounts to several thousand tons per year, there was invented a method for synthesizing the substance of the more accessible parts. Basically vanillin is produced from lignin , a byproduct of paper industry.Used as a flavor in yogurt, baked goods, beverages and confectionery.
